How to properly care for the washing machine
The washing machine also needs care to keep you faithfully for a long time. That's why we offer you some completely natural and harmless ways to keep it clean and in good shape:
Cleaning the inside of the drum unit What you need to do to keep the drum clean, once a month, run a short program by adding large salt. If you want to reduce the risk of bacteria, replace salt with 2 liters of white wine or apple vinegar. Put it directly into the drum and add 1 tsp. bicarbonate of soda. The smell of vinegar will disappear during rinsing, and the drum will be clean and brilliant as a new one.
Door care To clean the door, especially the rubber gaskets that most easily collect dirt and residual detergents, you can use a soda paste to apply with a toothbrush. To make such a paste, it is enough to add a few drops of water to half a glass of bicarbonate soda and mix them until the mixture becomes creamy.
Filter in excellent condition Over time and frequent use of the washing machine, the filter may become clogged with dirt. To function properly, it needs to be cleaned every 6 months. Take it out by paying attention to a possible leak of water, and brush it with soda and toothbrush under running water. If lime is formed, soak it in water with white vinegar for a few hours before proceeding with cleaning.
